Mark Bright's Shop Window

Mark "not very" Bright, has spent most of the World Cup saying that [insert name] has put himself in the Shop Window. Never has a cliche been so over used, since Mick McCarthy's head shaking comments.

So what do we find in Mark Brights' Shop Window Today (A Top World XI)

Also in a "Clive Tyldesley" moment, as they
have become known, the BBC described the 2nd half introduction of Hakan Yakin, by saying he "plays with young boys (long pause) of Bern". A Deliberate Pause? Totally.

The Swiss game has finished, which is probably for the best.

How Many Pints?

As Lloret De Mar hovers on the horizon, like a randy albatross. One's thoughts turn to the inevitable excess of alcohol and the resulting troubles we will encounter.

Not too happy about our plane, Easyjet have definitely gone down hill since my last trip. Pilot looks a bit young as well.

From what I gather the only good thing are the stewardesses, who manage to balance out any turbulence by sitting on the wing.

"Shouldn't have had that last Bloody Mary."

What have you done today to make you...

Feel proud, or something similar as Pineapple headed Heather Small would say. Well in response to the Mr. Ben comment, I did a little teleportation back to 1985 - to the days of Knight Rider, Streethawk and The Sullivans. It didn't quite go to plan, as I stood in my wardrobe for half an hour before the wizardry kicked in.

As you can see I have authenticated this with the attached documentation. So no one can say it didn't happen.

Headed back before the final of the sack race as it was approaching lunch. Lunch as you can see was a trio of "turd sticks" on a bed of rice. Definitely up there as one of the top 10 World Cup brunches.

Things Getting A Little Out Of Hand

Morning All, managed to sleep in this morning. Finally must be getting used to this "time off" malarkey. Room's starting to get the smell, appearance and ambience of some pretty heavy World Cup Sessions. Might have to manouevre things around, so I can get down the ladders.

World Cup is hotting up, as opposed to the weather....so the 3 games today can't come quick enough.

Did a stock check this morning. 4 Hoegaarden left, 1 Weissbier, 18 Belgian Beers. Will this see me through till 4.00 on Friday, and the start of the Lloret De Mar debacle?

Probably not.
